Akumina is seeking a proactive, talented front-end developer looking to make an impact supporting Fortune 500 companies in an emerging technology space. You will play an integral role working with customers, partners and other Akumina team members in designing, building, implementing, and optimizing large enterprise solutions/environments. The ideal candidate must have the ability to blend their technical skills, creativity and customer focus to deliver not just what the customer asks for, but also what they will derive the most value from.

Responsibilities

  • Work with services team in scoping and designing solutions for clients
  • Participate in discovery calls with clients to understand needs of clients
  • Create reusable code containers called widgets to address client needs
  • Design widgets/apps for creating experiences that meets the requirements for the client
  • Execute SDLC practices in an Agile work environment
  • Review app and feature coding and plan future website enhancements with the development team
  • Develop and execute application testing procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years’ web development experience required
  • Proficient in the Microsoft .NET technology stack
  • Proficient in JavaScript and additional JavaScript languages like jQuery, Angular JS a must
  • C# and mobile development experience a bonus but not required
  • Understanding of SharePoint, Microsoft Graph and Office 365
  • Experienced in customer-facing role / prior consulting experience a plus
  • Self-Starter / ability to work with minimal direction
  • Passionate learner
