When hosting the AppManager on a VM, it is important to set the Application Pool timeout to “0” so that the AppManager process remains available for your intranet site data even during periods of inactivity in AppManager. To do this
- Access the Application Pool in the IIS Manager on the VM
- Select the AppManager application
- Click on “Advanced Settings” in the right column
- Set the “Idle Time-out” to “0”
- Set the Idle Time-out Action to “Suspend”
